Difference between Stocks and Shares

Hi,Today I am going to tell you  Difference between Stocks and Shares Stocks  and  Shares are commonly used interchangeably to refer to ownership in a company, but there is a difference between the two. A  stock represents a unit of ownership in a company. When a company wants to raise capital, it can issue stocks to the public, which are then bought and sold on the  stock market. If a person buys a stock , they become a shareholder in the company, and as the company grows and generates profits, the value of their  stock can increase. Shares , on the other hand, refer to the total number of  stocks issued by a company. For example, if a company has issued 1 million stocks , it has 1 million shares outstanding. In summary,  stocks represent a unit of ownership in a company, while  shares represent the total number of  stocks issued by a company.
